Cleansing - Philosophy's Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser for Faceand Eyes

Koreans believe that cleansing is the most important step in the regimen, and they highly value "double cleansing". For me, I double cleanse in the evening (after a long day at work, or if I have makeup on), but cleanse once in the morning. My dermatologist even recommended washing your face just with water in the morning, as you won't get dirt on your face while sleeping, and to avoid over stripping your face of natural oils.

My holy grail cleanser is Philosophy's Purity Made Simple 3-in-1 Cleanser for Face and Eyes. It's gentle enough and yet gives a clean, residue free finish. My face doesn't feel tight or dry after cleansing at all.

Price wise, the cleanser costs SGD 34 for 240ml. I read several reviews online saying that this cleanser is too expensive; but in my opinion, I have bought my bottle more than a year ago, used it religiously twice per day and have only gone through two-thirds of the bottle. A coin sized amount of the cleanser is enough for the entire face. Given this, I think this cleanser is definitely worth the $$.

To conclude, I find this cleanser effective enough for light makeup days i.e. bb cream, foundation etc. You will need to use a makeup remover for waterproof makeup before this cleanser. For makeup remover, I use Shu Uemura's Anti/Oxi Skin Refining Anti-Dullness Cleansing Oil. Also, loads of raves online for this makeup remover. Doesn't dry my face, doesn't break me out, and does the job well.

Cheers and xxx
